Bear Care Tips

Please follow these important tips to get the most enjoyment out of your Bearables & other Dipped Critters.

The shipping process can sometimes be a bit traumatizing to our bears, especially during the summer months when it`s hot! If your bear arrives with white spots or places where the fur is matted down, simply zap it for a few seconds (it doesn`t take long!) with your hair dryer. You can use a plastic fork to "fluff" him a bit as well if needed.

Bears & other dipped critters do not have wicks and are NOT candles - DO NOT burn them!

Although we use real, stuffed teddy bears, these are not toys and should be kept out of reach of children and pets.

Your Bearable should be placed on a plate (a pillar candle plate works great) or a trivet as to not damage your furniture in the event of oil seepage.

Bearables & other dipped critters should be placed on a shelf or mantle out of direct sunlight and should be left alone; they require no attention (although your guests will likely give them some!).

Your Bearable will provide lots of fragrance for several months. When the scent does begin to fade, simply freshen it with your hair dryer for a few seconds and it will be as good as new!
